Joyce Lindsey
Joyce Marie Lindsey, age 72, of Hornbeak passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025, at The Waters of Union City.
Joyce was born on Nov. 5, 1952, in Paris to the late Martha “Polly” Lindsey.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She attended Hornbeak Baptist Church and loved to sew.
Joyce is survived by one daughter, Angela (Bob) McNeill of Hickman, Ky.; two granddaughters, Kayla (Caleb) Fortson of Woodland Mills and Shelley (Zach) Anderson of Hornbeak; one grandson, Bobby (Bre) Shaffer Jr. of Hickman; and five great-grandchildren, Harper Fortson, Jensen Fortson, Piper Anderson, Marlow Anderson and Waylon Cole Shaffer.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded by her grandmother, Stella Odom Lindsey; grandfather, Richard Miller Lindsey; sister, Judy Kay Lindsey; and brother, Robert Dale Lindsey.
Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, at the funeral home from 1:30-3 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, with Seth Turnbo officiating.
Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Zach Anderson, Ranger Anderson, Caleb Fortson, Brandon Dean and Austin Dean serving as pallbearers.
