Mae Roberts

Mae Roberts, 89, of Union City passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Bro. Carl Southerland officiating. Burial will follow in Sander’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday beginning at 1 p.m. and run until the time of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Evans, Marshall Evans, Jace Hall, Charles Barnes, Robert Miller and Clayton Morris.
Mrs. Roberts was born in Hornbeak on Jan. 23, 1936, to the late William Isaac Sampson and the late Minnie Lee Bramlett Sampson. She married Mr. Paul B. Roberts on April 5, 1958. He preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 2009. She worked for Salant and Salant for many years and then retired from being a caregiver at Prince Nursing Home.
She is survived by her children, Howard Roberts of Union City, Joyce Morris of Union City, Terry (Nancy) Roberts of Hornbeak and Darrell (Heather) Roberts of Troy; six grandchildren, Salina Bradley of Union City, Shalisha (Dustin) Evans of Union City, Clayton (Karina) Morris of Arkansas, Amanda (Alex) Wray of Martin, Amber Tate of Hornbeak and Kaylee Roberts of Troy; eight great-grandchildren, Garrett and Hunter Beth Bradley of South Fulton, Marshall and Reagan Evans of Union City, Jace Hall of Hornbeak, Avalynn and Alex Wray of Martin, and Parker, Jed and Tucker Morris of Arkansas; and one brother, John G. (Betty Howell) Sampson of Illinois.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Baker; and five brothers, Buster, Pete, Billy Jack, John R. and John William Sampson; her great-granddaughter, Lexus; and her son-in-law, Roger Morris.
