Gianna Vazquez
Gianna Kailany Maldonado Vazquez, 2, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025, at her home.
Funeral services were conducted 10 a.m. today at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Father Carl Gregorich officiated. Burial followed in East View Cemetery.
Visitation was held at the church from 8 p.m. Tuesday until 9:30 a.m. today.
Kailany was born Sept. 2, 2022, in Union City, daughter of Rodolfo Maldonado Orduno and Irma Angelica Vazquez Hernandez of Union City.
She is also survived by three sisters, Maria Maldonado, Mia Maldonado and Genesis Maldonado, all of Union City; one brother, Abraham Maldonado of Union City; grandparents, Lucila Orduno of Mexico, Juan Vazquez of Union City and Raquel Hernandez of Union City; and several aunts and uncles.
She was preceded by her grandfather, Francisco Maldonado.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
