Mary Eason
Mary Emma Montgomery Eason, age 88, of Springville, formerly of Union City, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025 at New Hope Bible Church, with Rev. Darrell Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch-Hornbeak Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday at 11 a.m. and run until the time of service at the church.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Eason was born in Samburg, TN on June 28, 1936, to the late Benny Montgomery and the late Thelma Hamilton Montgomery. She married Mr. Emeard Eason, who preceded her in death in 2001. She worked for Children’s Corner as a teacher and a cook and was also the President of the Volunteers at the Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Allen Lyle of Springville; three grandchildren, Jessica (Guy) Pryor of Wichita Falls, Texas, Joey Glover (Amos Smith) of Union City and Meagan Eason of Knoxville; four great-grandchildren, Clara and Lucy Pryor and Kingston and Keilynn Tuck; and one sister, Carol Wall of Plymouth, Mich.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ernest Eason.
