Naomi Craddock
Odessie Naomi (Baker) Craddock, 92 years old, of Union City died Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at her residence in the Crystal community.She was born Jan. 23, 1933, in Obion County, daughter of the late Samuel Hogg Baker and the late Allen Myrtle (Yates) Baker.She was married to the late Walter B. Craddock Jr. (Buddy) who passed Oct. 28. 2010.She was also preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters, James Vernon (JV) Baker, Lester Baker, Roy Marshall Baker, Samuel Arvel Baker, Zelma Zuk, Marie Bell, Hazel Luker, Maxine Vaught and Myrle Lee Counce.Survivors include four daughters and a son-in-law, Shauna Craig, Nerli Wallingsford, Kenthea Craddock and Jill Edwards and husband, Greg, Edwards; three grandchildren, Dodi Maestro-Pejovic and husband, Alex, Charity VanHorn and husband, Adam, and Joshua Craig and wife, Jessica; and eight great-grandchildren.Naomi was a member of First Assembly of God Church and a beautician for 48 years in Union City. She was a donor to Medcure Research Institution for Education and Research purposes. The family is very grateful for Gentiva Hospice for the Comfort Care to mother and the family received during this time.
