Carol Walsh

Carol Sue Flowers Walsh, age 65, of Obion passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025, at West Tennessee Healthcare in Dyersburg.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Troy First Baptist Church, with Bro. Marshal Key and Bro. Rick Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday at 1 p.m. and run until the time of service at the church.
Kurt Barnhart, Cruz Martinez, Hosea Lamb, Donnie Flowers, Bailey Flowers and Robby Wenzler will serve as pallbearers. Larry Flowers will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Walsh was born in Union City on Nov. 5, 1959, to the late Columbus Leon Flowers and the late Barbara Ann Brown Flowers. She married Mr. J. Eric Walsh on Dec. 18, 1993. She was a 1977 graduate of Obion County Central High School and then went on to Union University. She then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary at North Texas University. Mrs. Walsh retired from teaching English at Obion County Central High School.
She is survived by her husband, J. Eric Walsh of Obion; two daughters, Erica Renee Walsh Davis and and her husband, Logan Gabriel, of Ft. Riley, Kan., and Bethany Leona Walsh Barnhart and her husband, Kurt Russell, of Union City; her stepdaughter, Katie Louise Walsh Mawhorter and her husband, Jared, of Richmond, British Columbia; and stepson, Ben Kent Walsh and his wife, Jade, of Martin; five grandchildren, Anna, Tim, and Elizabeth Mawhorter and Amelia and Atlas Walsh; one grandson on the way, Mason Logan Davis; three brothers, Larry, Donnie and Doyle Flowers; and five sisters, Nancy Mitchell, Linda Flowers, Kathy Douglas, Bobbie Ann Sanford and Diane Strain. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Joyce Flowers.
