Anne Guy Sampson, 96, of Troy died May 4, 2025 at the Obion County Nursing Home.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. May 18, 2025, at Troy Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. May 18 at the church.
White-Mahon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Anne Guy Sampson, 96, a resident of Troy, died May 4, 2025, at the Obion County Nursing Home.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Troy Methodist Church. Rev. Judd Mowery will be officiating, with Brian Nance assisting. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Guy, Brodie Parrish, Mike Calhoun, Robert Woody, Jonathan Hudgins and Bobby Solmon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lucas Goodman, Harry Johnson, Tim Smith, Tony Easley, Brian Wilder, Billy Woody and Eugene Hudgins.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the church.

Mrs. Sampson was born on March 24, 1929, in Troy to the late Ernest and Ethel (Harrison) Guy. She was a Homemaker. On Jan. 1, 1955, she married Hoyt Sampson. He preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 2021. She was a member of Troy Methodist Church for 90 years.

Mrs. Sampson is survived by a son, Hoyt “Lee” Sampson Jr. and his wife, Suzanne, of Ft. Worth, Texas; daughter, Theresa Calhoun of Troy, Mike Calhoun of Troy; six grandchildren, Chris Palmer and his wife, Allison, of Union City, Eddie Palmer of Jacksonville, Fla., Bethany Goodman and her husband, Lucas, of Hickman, Ky., Hoyt Lee “Trey” Sampson III and his wife, Eva, of Albuquerque, N.M., Jacob Charles Sampson of Dallas, Texas, and William Esque Sampson of Ft. Worth, Texas; seven great-grandchildren, Shelby Leigh Palmer of Troy, Ella Palmer and Sophie Palmer, both of Union City, Sailor, Brooks and Georgia Goodman, all of Hickman, and Theodore “Theo” Hoyt Sampson of Albuquerque, N.M.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her four sisters, Mozelle Ball, Edyth Herndon, Christine Hart and Rene Watson; three brothers, WJ, Haskell and Paul Guy; and her In-laws, John and Laura Sampson.
