Juanita Stone

Mrs. Juanita Burress Stone, 87, a resident of Union City, died April 29, 2025, at her residence.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2025, at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Rev. Melvin Poe officiated. 
Friends were asked to meet at the cemetery.
White-Ranson Funeral Home was in charge of services.
Mrs. Stone was born on Oct. 12, 1937, in Union City to the late Nolie and Pauline (Nash) Burress.
She worked as a Food Service Worker in the cafeteria for the former Obion County General Hospital. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved church, singing, flowers and two step dancing.
She is survived by two daughters, Penny Stone Alexander and Mary Stone, both of Union City; two brothers, Finis Burress and wife, Judy, and Nolie Burress; and several cousins and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Stone; grandparents, William Ellis Nash and Mary Etter Nash; and two sisters, Betty Maggard and Leoda Kemp.
