Jimmy James
Mr. Jimmy Pat James of South Fulton, age 85, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Ky. He was born Sept. 22, 1939, in Wingo, Ky., to the late Jessie and Vivian Bradley James.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a Maintenance Mechanic for the former Goodyear Rubber and Tire Company in Union City.
He is survived by his wife to whom he married on June 9, 1964, Lora Mae Allen James; three sons, William David James of South Fulton, Johnny (Missi) James of Monroe, Ga., and Joseph (Terra) James of McConnell; two grandchildren, Jacob James of Monroe and Janna James of McConnell; one brother, Donnie James of Wingo and one sister, Mary Lou Bowlin of Owensboro, Ky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill James, Dick James and Edward James; and two sisters, Sue Taylor and Judy James.
Honorary pallbearers were Phil Skaggs, Stuart Bloodworth, Jamie Bowlin, Lee Bowlin and Jimmy Vowell. Pallbearers were Jarrod Dellomy, Tim Allen, David Puckett, Bobby Vowell, Jeff Allen, Jim Covington, Craig James and Tony Dillihunt.
Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Pat James will be Friday, April 25, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, with Bro. Paul Adams and Bro. Glenn Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 5-8 p.m.
