Jimmy Fitz
Mr. Jimmy Ray Fitz, 66, a resident of Tiptonville, died April 2, 2025, at his residence.
Services will be held 1 pm, Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at White & Mahon Funeral Home. Rev. John Poor will be officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Fitz was born on May 23, 1958, in Roseville, Mich., to the late Charles Dewey and Nancy (Nicks) Fitz. He worked as a Technician for TWRA. He married Doris Ann Barker, and she preceded him on Dec. 26, 2024. He attended Wynnburg Baptist Church in Tiptonville. He served in the U.S. Navy for 2 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Jessica Butler and husband, Darrel, of South Fulton; three stepsons, Chris Tipps, Rodney Tipps and Kevin Tipps; grandchild, Alexis Butler of Martin; sister, Phyllis Oberle of Maryland; two nieces, Kim Drollinger of Maryland and Adrienne Baker of Virginia; nephew, Sterling Oberle of Maryland; great-niece, Quinn Baker; and two great-nephews, Declan and Lachlan Baker, all of Virginia.
