Donald Long
Donald Wayne Long, age 56, of Union City passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025.
Funeral service were 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025, at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with David Long officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery. Visitation was Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Trevor and Ethan Boals, Michael Craddock, Phillip Twining, Michael Parker and Michael Brown.
Mr. Long was born in Union City on Aug. 28, 1968, to Harris Benford Long Jr. and Dorothy Louise Parker Long. He was a loving father, son and grandfather.
He is survived by his parents, Harris and Dorothy Long of Union City; his daughter, Shelly Boals of Union City; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Vicki and Charles Stephens of Union City and Sharmen Twining of Troy; his brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Tammy Long of Union City; two grandsons, Trevor and Ethan Boals; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Long was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harris Benford Long Sr., Nellie B. Long, Steve Riley Parker and Vivian Irene Parker.
