WET WALK

WET WALK — A fire that broke out about 1:35 a.m. Saturday at Obion County Central High School on Highway 51 in Troy was contained to an English classroom, where a small appliance apparently overheated. During overhaul operations in the aftermath, firefighters from the Troy, Hornbeak and Obion fire departments pulled large positive pressure ventilation fans down a hallway soaked with water from activation of the school’s sprinkler system. Damage was reported to be minimal, with no disruption of normal school activities.
