Shirley London
Shirley Virginia London, age 84, of Troy, formerly of Akin, Ill., passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, at Obion County Nursing Home.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mrs. London was born in Augusta, Ark., on Feb. 11, 1940, to the late William Woodrow Paul and the late Lonie Lady Brown Paul. She was a member of the Church of God in Cleveland, Tenn., and worked as a cook for many years in the Franklin County Hospital in Benton, Ill.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Jennifer Schwartz of Troy; four grandsons, Charles Schwartz and his wife, Collette, of Simpsonville, S.C., Joshua Schwartz and his wife, Audri, of Virden, Ill., Seth Brandon and his wife, Makayla, of West Frankfort, Ill., and Nathan Schwartz of Paducah, Ky.; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Doyle Paul.
