INSPIRING READERS — Jessica Gibson, a member of the Obion County Friends of the Library, restocked the Little Free Library located at Merchants Park in downtown Union City recently. Her family donated the LFL in 2023 after she installed one at her own home in Martin during the COVID-19 pandemic and saw the benefits it had for her community. “Having the Little Free Library installed in downtown Union City means a lot to my family,” she said. “This one is extra special because it was the last project my husband’s father worked on before he passed away.” Seeing the benefits her Little Free Libraries have had, Mrs. Gibson has made it her mission to get LFLs located in each community in Obion County.
