Mary Nicks
Mary Anita Nicks, age 83, of Troy passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, at White-Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Kevin Dobbins officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chris and Cory Robertson, Josh Nicks, Andrew Dobbins, Seth Lofton, Austin Norton and Rob Stover.
Mrs. Nicks was born in Troy on Jan. 6, 1942, to the late James Wesley Little and the late Mary Elizabeth Ursery Little. She married Mr. James Willie Nicks on Oct. 18, 1960. He survives. She was the owner of Rainbow Dry Cleaners for many years.
In addition to her husband, James Nicks, she is survived by four children, Susan (Jim) Robertson of Troy, Jeff (Sissy) Nicks of Troy, Stacey (Melanie) Nicks of Obion and Annette (Kevin) Dobbins of Troy; nine grandchildren, Chris (Andrea) Robertson, Cory (D’Anna) Robertson, Andrew Dobbins, Stevie Nicks, Josh (Megan) Nicks, Abby Nicks, Heather Nicks, Amanda Norton and Seth (Tara) Lofton; 15 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Barry (Faye) Little.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Dee Little; her sister-in-law, Linda Little; and several aunts and uncles.
