Dorothy Mae Hurst
Mrs. Dorothy Mae Hurst, age 91, of Kenton passed away from this life on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, at home.
Graveside services for Mrs. Hurst will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, at 1 p.m. in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, in Obion, with Bro. Zack Hurst officiating. Interment will immediately follow.
She was born Sept. 20, 1933, in Bald Knob, Ark., daughter of the late Elbert and Gladys (Hearst) Crosby. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Hurst is survived by four children, Wayne Hurst, Mary Butler, Allen Hurst and Samuel Hurst Jr.; siblings, Jay Kazdeon, Glynn Crosby and Linda Crosby; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Hurst; and granddaughter, Melissa Hurst.
