Larry Seay
Larry Wayne Seay, age 75, of Hornbeak passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, at White-Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Bro. George Scarbrough officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
Mr. Seay was born on July 22, 1949, in Chattanooga to the late Lawrence Goffery Seay and the late Dorothy Emily Tilcamp Seay. He was married for 38 years to Mrs. Patricia Hubble Seay. Mr. Seay was an Air Force Veteran and retired from the State of Tennessee. For over 30 years, he worked in food management for various correctional facilities all throughout Tennessee. He was also a former Alderman, Police Officer and Mayor of Hornbeak.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Seay of Hornbeak; his daughter, Tonya Seay Sullivan; his son, Jeff Seay of Chattanooga; his sister-in-law, Tonya Scarbrough (Kevin) of Pinson; two nephews, Hunter Rice and Dakota Scarbrough; his niece, Kristen Henderson (Ryan); two sisters, Debbie Seay and Judy Hixon; two brothers, Ronald and Donald Seay; and several grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Seay was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Seay; sister, Martha Lindsey Brooks; his in-laws, Milton and Sue Hubble; and his sister-in-law, Pamela Stockdale.
