Marjorie French

Marjorie Louise French, age 93, of Union City passed away on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024, at The Waters of Union City.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel in Camden, with Bro. Brian Oakes officiating. Burial followed in Crossroads Cemetery in Camden.
Visitation was on Sunday from noon-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. French was born on Nov. 13, 1931, in Carroll County to the late Jesse Lee Jordan and the late Nolie Ann Melton Jordan. She was retired from H.I.S. in Bruceton. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Marjorie enjoyed quilting, she was an excellent cook and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Gale (Susan) Kee of Camden; daughter, Ann (Ken) McGrew of Union City; brother, Joe Neal (Nancy) Jordan of Ohio; sister, Brooxie Jordan of Nashville; grandchildren, Mark (Erika) Cooley, Dawn (Erick) Lattus, Michelle (Dwight) Spain, Emily (Brian) Haskins and Michael (Whitney) Kee; and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Neal French; brothers, Leon Jordan, Vernon Jordan, Earl Jordan, Horace Jordan, Glenn Jordan and Paul Jordan; and a sister, Gladys Kee.
