Ms. Natalie Johnson, 21, of Union City died Friday, Nov. 22, 2024.
Services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at Second Baptist Church. Interment followed in East View Cemetery.
Visitation began at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home in Union City was in charge of arrangements.
She was born on April 29, 2003, in Union City to her loving parents, Ezra and Charity Johnson.
Natalie graduated from high school in 2020 and soon began pursuing her passion for music at La Film School in Los Angeles, Calif., a gift she cherished deeply. She also served as an educator at Little Lambs Childcare Center, where she poured her love and energy into each of her students, greeting everyone with her radiant smile.
Natalie was a light in every room she entered. Her unwavering faith in God and her mission to share the gospel with all she encountered were at the core of her being. She touched countless lives with her testimony, ensuring that everyone she met knew about her Lord and Savior.
Natalie’s greatest joys in life were her family, her music, and her faith and her church family. Natalie was also minister of music at Greater Bethel Church. She is survived by her devoted parents, Ezra and Charity Johnson of Union City; her siblings Malik Johnson of South Carolina, Ezra Johnson Jr. of Louisville, Ky., Ja’Lynn Johnson of Union City, Michelle Johnson of Union City and Matthew Johnson of Union City.
She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephew, Everly Johnson, Ezekiel Johnson and Emberlynn Johnson. Natalie is lovingly remembered by her grandparents, Richard and Florence Johnson of Union City and Stephanie Tucker of Union City, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends.
Natalie’s beautiful smile, joyful spirit and unshakable faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She was a shining light in this world, and her memory will forever be cherished.
