Floyd Clemons
Floyd Thomas Clemons, age 58, of Martin passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at Obion County Memorial Gardens, with Bro. Cody Barner officiating.
Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Danny Carr, Sheriff Karl Jackson, David Wegner, Kenneth Wright and Brent Callicott will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be first shift Titan Tire employees, 1998-2005 former Union City High School football players and coaches, the Union City High School Class of 1985 and Stephanie Huff Mosley.
Mr. Floyd was born in Union City on Oct. 16, 1966, to the late James Clemons and the late Imogene Horton Clemons. He married Mrs. Melissa Arlene Cathey Clemons. She preceded him in death on June 9, 2013.
He worked for Titan Tire and also spent many years being the Union City High School football teams’ filmer under Coach Randy Barnes and Coach Fishel. He spent many years umpiring Little League baseball and was a member of the Union City Civitan Club.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Jimmy Brooks of Rives; his girlfriend, Pam Wegner of Martin; his nephew, Jeremy Brooks of Rives; and his cousin, Angie Clemons of Union City.
