Draylen Kross Johnson, 1, of Union City died Friday, Nov. 22, 2024.
Services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at Second Baptist Church. Interment followed in East View Cemetery.
Visitation began at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home in Union City was in charge of arrangements.
He was born on March 19, 2023, to Justice Johnson and DeAngelo Mitchell, was a sweet, loving and funny little boy who brought immense joy to everyone around him. From an early age, Draylen showed a deep love for music, Worship, singing, playing with his horses, and his cherished ball.
Draylen is survived by his devoted parents, Justice and DeAngelo; and his loving siblings, Everly Johnson and Zaraiyah Mitchell. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Jenny and Stevie Flowers of Troy, Tim and Sue Pearson of Germany, Ezra and Charity Johnson of Union City and Lawrence Mitchell, also a host of great grandparents, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Latricia Binns, who now welcomes him with open arms.
Draylen’s short time on Earth was filled with laughter, love and music, and he will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
