Leslie Ann Pugh
Leslie Ann Pugh, age 47, of Troy passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services were noon Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, with Bro. Jack Henry officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
Pallbearers were Jason Jeffries, Shane and Clay McDaniel, Zachary King, Danny Morris and Austin Maldonaldo. Teddy Vandeer and Clint Smith served as honorary pallbearers.
Leslie was born in Union City on March 23, 1977, to Michael C. McDaniel and Jane Ransom McDaniel. She worked as a security guard at Tyson Food.
She is survived by her mother, Jane McDaniel; two daughters, Seairra Jeffries (Danny Morris) of Troy and Madison King (Zachary) of Union City; five grandchildren, Brian, DrakeLynn and Talon Morris and Kayden and MJ King; one brother, Shane McDaniel of Union City; two stepchildren, Austin Jeffries and Hayley Cartwright (JA); one niece, Allie Bratton; one nephew, Clay McDaniel; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
Leslie was preceded in death by her father, Michael McDaniel; and her sister, Jennifer McDaniel.
