ANGELS IN NEED
ANGELS IN NEED — More than 100 angels have been hung on the Salvation Army Angel Tree at Walmart Supercenter in Union City and are waiting for individuals, groups and organizations to select one for whom to provide Christmas gifts this year. Walmart employees (from left) coach Rosa Bustos, associate Linda Clark, store manager David Harris and associate Riley Crittendon, all of Union City, encourage everyone to visit the service center to select one of the remaining 80 angels. Gifts need to be purchased, individually wrapped and returned no later than 5 p.m. Dec. 8 in order for the children to receive gifts during a party at First Methodist Church in Union City on Dec. 14. The Salvation Army is also in need of individuals and groups to serve as bell ringers. Call Harris at 731-884-0114 to reserve a time to volunteer.
