FOOD & CLOTHING
FOOD & CLOTHING — Obion County Ministerial Association members Dan Huggins (left), pastor of the Refuge Mission in Union City, and Garrett Quinn, pastor of Crosswind Church in Union City, last week sorted through some of the donated coats and non-perishable food to be given away as part of this year’s Feeding of the 5,000 community outreach. The Feeding of the 5,000 grocery giveaway is set for Nov. 26 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Obion County Fairgrounds, followed by the Thanksgiving Soul Food Café meal from 5-7 p.m. at the fairgrounds, where the Refuge meets. Both are free of charge to anyone who has need or would benefit. Feeding of the 5,000 is based on the biblical account of Jesus feeding a multitude.
