Paul Van Valkenburg
Mr. Paul Van Valkenburg Sr., 85, a resident of Troy, died Oct. 15, 2024, at his residence.
Services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024, at White & Mahon Funeral Home. Paul Van Valkenburg Jr. officiated.
Burial followed in Terrace Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Whitney Green, Courtney Green, Reagan McMahan, Donald Van Valkenburg Jr., Cameron Grant and Landen Rivers.
Oaklynn Rushin served as an honorary pallbearer.
The family received friends from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday at funeral home.
Mr. Van Valkenburg was born on March 1, 1939, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to the late Tremain and Maggie Mae (Kline) Van Valkenburg.
He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Mira Verde HOA. On Dec. 23, 1955, he married Anna Tucker. She preceded him on Feb. 20, 2013.
He is also survived by a daughter, Cathy Van Val-kenburg of Troy; two sons, Donald Van Valkenburg and wife, Angele, of Troy and Paul Van Valkenburg and wife, Sharon, of Utah; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his three brothers, Tremain, Donald and Patrick Van Valkenburg; and a sister, Lois Van Valkenburg.
