Aaron Tittle

Mr. Aaron Tittle, 88, a resident of Troy, passed away September 19, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the Troy Church of Christ. Dr. Chris Gooch officiated.
The family received friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at the Troy Church of Christ.
White-Mahon Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Tittle was born on May 1, 1936 in Haleyville, Ala., to the late James Loris and Celia Melinda (Plunkett) Tittle.
He worked as a Correctional Officer for the Tennessee Department of Correction. On September 25, 1954, he married Lena Faye Fowler. He was a member of the Troy Church of Christ.
The family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of almost 70 years, Faye Tittle of Troy; four daughters, Sheila Morris and husband Lee of Troy, Donna Blakely of Troy, Shana Wilson of Dyersburg and Kelly Jones of Troy; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Celia Tittle; three sisters, Joyce Walker, Janie Adams and Nell McNeal; and four brothers, Hershell Tittle, Steve Tittle, James Clinton Tittle and Eldon Tittle.
