Nancy Hooper
Nancy Ann Hooper, age 90, of Troy passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral services were noon today, Sept. 18, 2024, at White-Mahon Funeral Home, with Bro. Tony Jones officiating. Burial followed in Terrace Hill Cemetery. Visitation began today at 11 a.m. and ran until the time of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Steve Wills, BJ Phillips, Jamie Spaulding, Jeff Phillips, Donnie Flowers and John Campbell.
Mrs. Hooper was born on April 10, 1934, in Troy to Sillus Flowers and Viola McMullen Flowers. She was married to Mr. Bobby Hooper for 64 years. He preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 2020.
She worked for Troy Manufacturing.
She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Hunter of Troy; four grandchildren, Surina Jones and her husband, John, of Bells, Shasta Phillips and her husband, Jeffery, of Union City, B.J. Hunter and his wife, Hannah, of South Fulton and Bradley Hutchens of Martin; five great-grandchildren, Jared Crawford, Avery Hunter, Bryson Jones, Carter Jones and Aubrey Hunter.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
