David Satterfield
Mr. David Satterfield Sr., 72, of Union City passed away 7:05 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Ky.
Visitation was held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home.
Graveside services were conducted 3 p.m. (EST) Monday at Madisonville Cemetery in Madisonville. Pastor Tommy Hall officiated.
David was born Feb. 25, 1952, in Maryville, son of the late William Perrin Satterfield II and the late Wilma Faye (Myers) Satterfield. He married Darlene (Warren) Satterfield on July 18, 1992.
David served as a medic in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. David enjoyed walking five miles every morning, fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. More importantly, David recently received the Lord Jesus as his Savior, so he is now in His loving arms.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Darlene Satterfield of Union City; one son, David Trent Satterfiled Jr. of Burgin, Ky.; two stepsons, Jeff Isbell and wife, Martha, and Mark Isbell, all of Union City; two brothers, Bill Satterfield and wife, Debbie, of Dayton, Nev., and Mark Satterfield and wife, Joyce, of Athens; one sister-in-law, Deborah and Lanny Haynes of Tiptonville; his brother-in-law, Paul Warren of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Randy Satterfield.
