DINNER THEATER

DINNER THEATER — Cast members of Masquerade Theatre’s dinner theater production of “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten” took a break from practicing their lines to act like kindergartners during a recent rehearsal prior for this weekend’s performances at Discovery Park of America. The production includes heartwarming stories and songs that celebrate the whimsy of childhood and the wisdom of old age. Among those bringing Robert Fulghum’s story to life will be (front, from left) Jade Hammer, Catherine Nailling, (middle) Vanessa Barker, Melissa Pate, Dr. Kirk Stone, Linda St. Clair, Kim Castleman, (back) Nathan Castleman, Andy Nelson and Maria Sweatt. Doors will open at 6 p.m., with dinner at 6:15 and the performance at 7. As of Tuesday, Friday’s shows are sold out. A limited number of tickets for Saturday, which are $30 per person, are available to purchase online at www.ucmasqueradetheatre.com or in person at the Obion County Public Library. The meal, catered by Willow Tree/R&D Cakes and Catering, includes pan-seared chicken, salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, drinks and dessert. A cash bar will be available. All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket due to fire regulations and capacity limits. No tickets will be sold at the door.
