PRIDE OF OC

PRIDE OF OC — This year’s Pride of Obion County is described as a godly woman who has a generous, kind and caring heart. With nine nomination letters in support, out-of-county judges for the Obion County Fall Fest Pride of Obion County committee have selected LeEllen Smith for the honor. She will be honored by Obion County Fall Fest at a luncheon set for noon Oct. 9 in the ATA Room at Discovery Park of America. Tickets, which are $160 for a table of eight or $25 per individual, are on sale starting today at the Obion County Public Library. The meal will be catered by The Willow Tree/R&D Catering. Flowers are being provided by Flowers by Sass. The event is being sponsored by DPA, Commercial Bank and Herman Jenkins Motors.
