GRAND CHAMPION STEER
GRAND CHAMPION STEER — The annual Junior Market Livestock Sale was held last week at the Obion County Fair, with $235,309.71 raised for area youth. The Grand Champion Steer was shown by Lucas Berner (right). The 1,450.15-pound animal sold for $4.75 per pound or $6,888.21. It was purchased by Cole & Short Crop Insurance, Republic Services and McGuire’s Flying Service. Representing the buyers were (from left) Dave Bragg, Drake McGuire and Lucas Wilds. The auction was held in the Hunter Miller Livestock Barn.
