Judy Giffin
Julia Ann “Judy” Giffin, 86, of Union City passed away 2:33 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Funeral services were conducted 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Chip Davis officiated. Burial followed Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Derek Giffin, Carter Arnold, Conner Arnold, Sammy Ogg, Scotty Ogg and Chris Winstead.
Judy was born Aug. 29, 1937, in Martin, daughter of the late Basil Mayo and Evelyn Mae (Barber) Ogg. She married Glynn Giffin April 14, 1963. He preceded her in death Sept. 3, 2016.
Judy was a homemaker and helped her husband farm. She enjoyed working in her flowers, having a garden and doing needle work.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Hoyt and Benita Giffin of Union City; her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Troy Arnold of Union City; three grandsons and the spouse of one, Derek and Micayla Giffin, Dr. Carter Arnold and Conner Arnold, all of Union City; two great-grandsons, Everett Giffin and Henry Giffin, both of Union City; two sisters, Bettie Winstead and husband, Ronald, and Martha Wheeler and husband, Terry, all of Martin; and two brothers, Charles Ogg and Jack Ogg and wife, Cathy, all of Martin.
