Ray Workman

Ray Harper 0f Dresden left this earth Saturday, July 20, 2024, to be with his wife in a heavenly place. Ray’s 94 years of life were very full of (terrible) jokes and storytelling. He was a kind and generous man, always interested in helping others. Throughout his life he was able  watch four more generations of Harper descendants grow and he loved his family with his whole heart. Ray was preceded in death by hjis parents, Robert and Dula; his wife of more than 70 years, Opal; and his granddaughter, Rheanne. He is survived by his twin brother, Roy; son, Donalde; his grandchildren, David and Lexi; his great-grandchildren, April, Sabrina, Brad Renee’, Mazie and Travis; and many great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with a celebration of life service to be held at 11 a.m. at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin.
