Frank Strong
Mr. Frank Strong, 83, of Woodland Mills passed away 10:51 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2024, at TriStar Summit Medical Center in Hermitage.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Rick Ruybalid will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Beckman, Cole Beckman, Diego Ruybalid, Tri Yandell, Anthony Strong and Mike Strong.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Frank was born Aug. 1, 1940, in Hickman, Ky., son of the late J.C. and Golda (Carlton) Strong. He retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. after 28 years of service. Frank enjoyed fishing, reading and working crossword puzzles.
He is survived by two daughters, Kim Ruybalid and husband, Rick, of Chandler, Ariz., and Kelley Yandell and husband, Tri, of Hermitage; and three grandsons, Kenneth Beckman of China Grove, N.C., Cole Beckman of Madison and Diego Ruybalid of Chandler.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Strong and James Strong.
