Ms. Jennifer Rochelle Bond, 64, of Nashville, formerly of Union City, died Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
Services were to be held at 1 p.m. today, May 29, 2024, at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home. Interment was to follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation was to begin at noon today at the funeral home.
Jennifer Rochelle Bond, affectionately called “Roe” by her family, was born on Dec. 6, 1959, in Fulton, Ky., to Mary Morris Bond and the late James Thomas Bond.
After graduating high school, she attended Middle Tennessee State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She worked many years in corrections and the social services field. At the time of her passing, she was employed by Metro Nashville Schools and Allied Universal.
Jennifer leaves to mourn her passing and cherish fond memories her mother, Mary Bond of Union City; one son, Delshawn Bond; three grandchildren, Keyra Cavender-Bond, Kaleyshia Bond and Adrian Bond of Nashville; five siblings, Treva Daniels and James (Tekeka) Bond, both of Union City, Sherry (Keith) Robertson, Clarksville, Anthony Bond of Melissa, Texas, Keithelon Bond (Darice) of Memphis; one aunt, Loretta Tate of Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues and friends.
