Betty Jane Lofton
Betty Jane Lofton, 76, of Obion passed away 4:26 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at her home.
Memorial services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2024, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Eugene Hudgins will officiate.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the hour of services Sunday, June 2, 2024.
Betty Jane was born March 20, 1948, in Lake County, daughter of the late James Edward “Pete” Stanfill and Elizabeth Jane (Archie) Stanfill. She married Charles Lofton May 5, 1967.
She was a homemaker, enjoyed golfing and was a member of First Baptist Church in Obion.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Lofton of Obion; two daughters, Stefanie Lofton Gill and husband, Billy, of Collierville and Stacie Lofton Lee and husband, Jim, of Newbern; three grandsons, Warren Gill and wife, Trinity, of Olive Branch, Miss., Caden Gill of Collierville and Evan Lee of Newbern; and two great-grandchildren, Kellan Rose Gill and Waylon Gill, both of Olive Branch.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Randall Scott “Randy” Stanfill and James Archie “Bubba” Stanfill.
