Mary Lou Hogg
Mary Lou Hogg, 88, of Samburg died on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Reelfoot Manor Nursing Home in Tiptonville.
Born Monday, July 1, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Milton Davis and the late Mary Sue Eppley Hill. Mrs. Hogg was a former employee of Dyersburg Fabrics, where she worked for 32 years. Mrs. Hogg loved flowers, but she especially enjoyed cooking and making memories with her family.
A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Hogg will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Samburg Baptist Church. Officiating the service will be Dr. Chris Gooch.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Sandy Lee Caldwell of South Fulton and Bernadette Graves (Ronald) of Elkland, Mo.; one son, Robert Earl Hogg of Samburg; and she was “Nanny Hogg” to her eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Paul Hogg of Samburg, who died in 2002; one daughter, CSM Paula Sue Norris of Martin; one brother, Millard Hill of Memphis; and one sister, Jo Ann Brown of Samburg.
