Ben Farley
Mr. Ben Farley, age 81, of Troy passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at his home.
Funeral service will be at 2 p,m. today, May 15, 2024, at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Bro. Chip Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery. Visitation was to be held from noon until the funeral hour.
Mr. Farley was born in Union City on June 3, 1942, to the late Henry Farley and the late Lorene Russell Farley. He married Mrs. Linda Siglow Farley on Sept. 2, 1967. She survives. He worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 31 years. Upon his retirement, he began working for Obion County Central High School until he retired for good in 2023.
In addition to his wife, Linda, Mr. Farley is survived by his son, Anthony Farley of Union City; his sister-in-law, Cindy Thompson and her husband, Paul, of Union City; his niece, Karli Hawks and her husband, Dylan, of Hornbeak; his great-niece and great-nephew, Karson and Jentry Hawks; and two cousins, Calvin Cary and his wife, Shirley, of Union City and Jacqueline Brandon and her husband, Richard, of Chicago.
Along with is parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Clark.
