Lloyd Klutts

Lloyd Francis Klutts, age 103, of Troy passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2024, at Greater Vision Church in Troy, with Bro. Robin Rotgers officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Kennedy, Karl Johnson, Alfred Stribling, David Younger, Greg Campbell and Dwight Tittle. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be James Ed Gammons, Lew Solomon, Fred Armstrong, Bobby Donnell, Lynn Maloney, Bobby Wyatt, Kenneth Northam, Dwayne Green, William Matheny, Harry Johnson, David G. Hayes and Robert Davis.
Mr. Klutts was born in Obion County on Jan. 3, 1921, to the late Holland Klutts and the late Flora Elizabeth James Klutts. He married Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Troutt Klutts on Aug. 16, 1947. She survives.
He was a World War II Veteran with the 149th Combat Engineer Co. Mr. Klutts worked for the Obion County Highway Department until his retirement. He also drove a truck for Wiley Barnes Trucking and Lynn Maloney. Mr. Klutts was a charter member of Greater Vision Church of God in Troy.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by several nieces and nephews of Obion County; special nephew, James Edward (Ruby) Gammons of St. Louis, Mo.; and friends, Teresa and David Hayes.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Toby, Ruby, Mattie, Robert, Edith, James, Coy, Toy, Bill, Roy, Howard and Catherine; and his nephew, Jeff Gammons.
