Mattie Lou Moran
Mattie Lou Moran, age 86, of Troy passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 27, 2024.
Funeral service were 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Bro. James Gunter officiating. The family received friends from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial followed in Sanders Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Johnny and Wyatt Gantt, Josh Hutchison, Tony Duncan, Waylon Matheny and Dave Vanwormer.
Mrs. Moran was born in Obion County on April 19, 1938, to the late Robert Hayes Cleek and the late Bertha Tidwell Cleek. She married Mr. Ramie Ilar Moran on May 16, 1956. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2014.
She worked for Salant & Salant and also was the Obion County General Hospital Ward Clerk for 20 years.
She is survived by her four children, Robbie Moore of Troy, Richard Moran (Callye) of Union City, Penny Gantt (Timmy) of Troy and Joyce Regalado (Manuel) of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Johnny and Courtney Gantt, Scarlett Moore, and Gracie, Reid and Drew Norsworthy; four great-grandchildren, Harly Moore (Will Thomas), Wyatt Gantt and Logan and Kate Crabtree; one great-great-grandchild, Adonis Soltes; one brother, James Ray Lee; and several nieces and nephews.
