SOME’BUNNY”S HAPPY

SOME’BUNNY”S HAPPY — Most small children are scared of costumed characters and tend to stay away from the likes of the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus, kicking and screaming. That is until they are no longer scared. Such was the case with 2-year-old Eden Trainer of Kenton this year when she attended the Woodland Mills Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at the Woodland Mills Civic Center. Her mother, Mary Trainer, said she wanted nothing to do with the Easter Bunny last year, but this year they had to rush after the character for one last hug before the bunny hopped on down the road to his next engagement. Eden is also the daughter of Christopher Trainer. Woodland Mills provided hot dogs, chips and drinks for area families before children ages 10 and younger raced across the gym floor to pick up candy-filled colorful plastic eggs in age-divided hunts.
