Rick Habyan

Mr. Richard “Rick” George Habyan, age 74, of South Fulton passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, at the West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Martin Hospital ER.
He was born on July 29, 1949, in Akron, Ohio, to the late George Habyan and Johanna Murphy Habyan.
Rick was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Martin and was a United States Naval Reserve veteran. He retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City in the mold and bladder department. He had worked at several Goodyear locations, such as Akron, Gadsden and Danville. Rick was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Danville, Va.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Margaret Monk Habyan, whom he married April 12, 1969; four grandchildren, Blake Habyan of Southside, Ala., Brock Habyan of Southside, Bennett Habyan (Matt Habyan) of Marietta, Ga., and Baylor Habyan of Southside; and his siblings, Anna Maria Hall of Navarre, Ohio, Sean Katherine Rabbe of Lakewood, Ohio, and Kevin Andrew Habyan of Peninsula, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Lorian Habyan; and two sons, Richard Patrick Habyan and Michael Andrew Habyan.
There will be no services held at the funeral home.
