Anthony Morris

Anthony Lynn Morris, 63, of Gleason, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery. Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Anthony was born on March 11, 1960, in Dyersburg, to the late Isaac Preston Morris and Vivian Bernell Rundles Morris. From the early mornings, to the late nights, Anthony was a hard working farmer and enjoyed being outdoors. He was a devoted father and grandfather. Survivors include his two daughters, Kayla Morris (Kevin Johnson) of Jackson and Lacey Morris of Gleason; a sister, Onby Gail Todd (J.R.) of Gleason; four grandchildren, Dawson Bynum, Brayden Morris, Isaac Morris and Kain Bynum; a nephew, Shane Cunningham of Gleason; a niece, Amanda Hughey (Jessie) of Gleason; and a great-niece, Trinity Hughey of Gleason.
