Imogene Ross

Mrs. Imogene Roberson Ross, 93, died Friday, March 1, 2024, at Van Ayer Manor Nursing Home in Martin. Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday at Central Baptist Church in Martin, with Rev. Kylan Mann officiating. Burial will follow at East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be Wednesday after 10 a.m. until service time at the church with Murphy Funeral Home of Martin in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Ross was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Steve (Jessie) Ross of Martin,; four grandchildren, Cayce Ross, Cooper Ross, Alex (Bre) Ross and Chesney (Tyler) Smith; and a daughter-in-law, Valerie Ross of Martin. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Ross; a son, Joey Ross; her brothers, Ilar, Carl, Tom, Buddy and Toy Roberson; her sisters, Artie Smith, Lucile Weaver and Alma Rhodes; and her parents, Odie B. and Hattie Odessa Yates Roberson.
