ROAD TO SUCCESS — Obion County Mayor Steve Carr (left) and Matt Ketchum, team lead with the Tennessee Department of Transportation Region 4 in the Newbern construction office, paused on State Route 690 — the future I-69 — at the Highway 51 interchange this morning as they discussed today’s plans for opening the mainline loop around Union City. The section from west of State Route 21 to south of State Route 5 in Obion County has taken multiple projects over a decade and an investment of over $220 million.
