Coach Clennon Brooks Dailey, 82, of Martin died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, at Mercy Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin with Joey Brush officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McKenzie.  He was a retired teacher and coach of basketball and golf at Westview High School.  He is survived by his daughters, Dinah (Mike) Nelson of Martin and Deborah (Jackie) McKay of Springville; one brother, Ken (Susan) Dailey of Walkerville, Arkansas; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Coach Dailey was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Ann Dailey; his parents, Alton Brooks Dailey and Virgie Beckham Dailey; sister, Joyce Smith; and brother, Larry Dailey. Online tributes may be left at murphyfuneralhome.net.
