Shawn Weaks

Shawn Andrew Weaks, age 31, of Union City passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024, at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Bro. Guy Revell officiating assisted by Shawn’s brother, Steven Weaks. Interment will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, from 3-7 p.m. and again Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Cameron Powers, Alex Harrison, Kendrick Hardin, Bradley Randolph, Dustin Smyth and Lucas Garland. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Branson Sherwood, Brandon Griffin, Will Buckland, Eric Brann, Zach Bunch, Steven Patton, Jayson Jackson, Joe Ferguson and Britton Bugg.
Shawn was born in Union City on Nov. 29, 1992, to Kenny Weaks and Lisa Quinn Weaks. He married Lauren Futhey Weaks on Nov. 3, 2018. She survives. He was the Safety Supervisor at Williams Sau-sage Company.
In addition to his wife and parents, Shawn is survived by his brother, Steven Weaks of Union City; his maternal grandfather, Ronnie Quinn; his uncles and aunts, Kenneth and Angie Quinn of Searcy, Ark., James and Becky Quinn of Augusta, Ga., Tony and Heather Quinn of Troy, Kathy and Randy Brann of Union City and Kevin and Melissa Weaks of Union City; 11 cousins, Ashley (Zach) Hyatt, Ryan (Katelynn) Quinn, Thomas Bridges, Jaqualynn Gray, Dahlya Quinn, Samson Quinn, Jacob Quinn, Rachel (Matthew) Morrison, Eric (Danielle) Brann and Amber (Tristan) Callaway; his in-laws, Bill and Jennifer Futhey; his sister-in-law, Mallory Thompson; his brother-in-law, Dallas Futhey; his stepmother, Gina Weaks; his stepgrandmother, Reba Gargis Ringberg; three stepbrothers, Scott (Karla) Brimer and Patrick and Jeremy Moore; and his stepnephews, Trevor, Tracen and Tripp Brimer.
Shawn was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Hilda Quinn; and his paternal grandparents, Gary and Ella Weaks.
