LIFE-SAVING EQUIPMENT — Chief Brandon Baldwin (second from left) of the Troy Volunteer Fire Department and Assistant Fire Chief Bryan Lippard (third from left) showed off some of the new-to-the-department extrication equipment firefighters recently acquired and have been training on behind City Hall. With the equipment, the fire department can now respond to motor vehicle accidents. Getting a closer look at the equipment following the monthly Troy board of aldermen meeting Monday night were Troy Mayor Mark Watson (right), who is the former fire chief, and alderman Chris Jones.
