Betty Archie
Mrs. Betty Ann Archie, age 78, of South Fulton passed away Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, at Baptist Health of Paducah (Ky.).
She was born Feb. 5, 1945, in Obion County to the late Carnell Stephens and Elsie Trousdale Stephens.
Betty was a traveling CNA.
She is survived by two sons, Edward Lee (Jeannie) Archie of South Fulton and Grady Lee (Susan) Archie Jr. of Milan; her grandchildren, Jesseca (Tony) Semore, Becky (Brett) Griffith and Sara Archie, all of South Fulton, Taylor (Justin) Jackson of Columbus, Ky., Lane (Fleming) Archie of East Prairie, Mo., and Elizabeth Archie of Samburg; five great-grandchildren, Riley and Ryker Semore and Graison and Wynn Griffith, all of South Fulton, and Brinley Jackson of Columbus, Ky.; a sister, Wanda Barker of South Fulton; a brother, Philip (Janice) Stephens of Water Valley, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Lee Archie; a brother, Wallace Stephens; and a sister, Sandra Ferguson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, in Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today, Jan. 3, 2024.
