WELL-BALANCED MEAL
WELL-BALANCED MEAL — Seven-year-old Lorenzo Morales, son of Erick Morales and Jennifer Potter, both of Union City, carefully balanced packages of dry ramen noodles as he helped with Chimes for Charity food sorting Thursday afternoon at Obion County Schools’ bus garage in Troy’s industrial park. The sorting of non-perishable food and toys preceded basket packing Friday at the bus garage. It was followed Saturday by the delivery of food baskets and toys to less fortunate families across Obion County as Chimes finished its 89th season of helping those in need at Christmas. Prior to Thanksgiving, some 300 children in need were also treated to new winter clothing through Chimes’ annual shopping tours. The program depends upon contributions of food, toys and funding from the community.
